Move4Farms Is Back!

Move4Farms returns on Sunday, October 13th for our 4th for our annual move-a-thon. Hosted at our Tommy's Rock Farm on 3 Akron Street in Roxbury, expect a day of fun, food, and community. The day starts with guided walking and biking tours of our farm sites and ends with a lively celebration including live music, locally crafted food, and games for all ages. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to support land stewardship and enterprise ingenuity of Black and Brown farmers in our communities.

At Boston Farms we've made it our mission to transform vacant lots into productive, regenerative farms, to reduce barriers to land access, and to create collective, community wealth through shared land that fosters the growth of food and farming enterprises. We simply cannot do this work without the support of you, our community!

How To Get MOVING

  1. JOIN the Movement Register to join the ride (8 miles), walk (5 miles), or help on the farm.  Your participation helps raise awareness and funds for our mission.

  2. SUPPORT the Movement: If you’re unable to attend, you can still make a difference by contributing through our fundraising page. Every donation, big or small, moves us closer to our goal.

  3. SHARE the Movement: Share our event on social media, invite friends and family, and help us amplify our message. Your voice can reach others who are passionate about community and sustainability.

The Impact of Your Support

Every dollar raised will go directly towards creating new farm sites, supporting local farmers, and fostering a more resilient and sustainable community. Your support not only contributes to immediate needs but also invests in the long-term well-being and empowerment of our neighborhoods.

We’re excited about the difference we can make together and hope you’ll join us in this vital effort. Thank you for considering how you can be a part of Move4Farms. Let’s work together to transform urban land, support local farmers, and build a stronger, healthier community.
